Following AnonymousBird's great tip about Dominion for 20p, can I ask how you find out which books are Kindle bargains on Amazon?

Do you have to hunt through the top 100 titles or is there an easier way?

Getting my first Kindle for Christmas so any advice very welcome

There is usually a £2.99 and under section or you can search under free books
I keep a wish list on amazon of books I want and check it daily then buy when the price drops.Sometimes it drops for just one day so its worth keeping an eye on it
The kindle forum on amazon is worth looking at as bargains are often mentioned

Think I will be catching up on the classics next year and keeping my eyes open for good literary fiction and crime bargains at the same time.
Have resisted getting a kindle for years but now feeling unreasonably excited!

Go to Kindle Bestsellers and it takes you to the Top 100 paid books - at the top of that page there is an option for the Top 100 free books - hooray

this website lists all the free Kindle books daily, and you click directly through to the Amazon website to "buy".

look on the kindle book discussion forum, they will flag any 20p books

on Amazon

I read this when it was first published and enjoyed it. Good for anyone who likes Sebastian Barry or Maggie O'Farrell's writing, but better IMO.

Yes, dailycheapreads has the advantage that someone's thought about picking out the important offers, there's no real editing on ereaderiq, and I think publishers must be adding their own stuff to the watchlist. Then you've got to wade through the rubbish to find the treasure, like all the why did anyone write that? type books. Also, when I first used it it referred to the latest price drop, now it just shows the first price something went on sale at - so you don't know if something has actually dropped from £9 to £3.99, say, just that it was £9 at some point in the past.

Type in '20p books' and up they come!

You can also search in kindle store for 0.00 or 0.20 and it will bring up free or 20p books.

Daily cheap reads usually flag up the 20p books on their daily email.

Best way to find free books in my opinion is ereaderiq, which lists masses of free books. You can also import an amazon wish list and it will track the prices for you, so if the price drops to an amount you are happy with it will email you and you can get it while it's a bit cheaper. I've got masses of free and cheap books this way and they are ones I've actually particularly wanted to read.

The daily ereaderiq email is worth getting too, they send an email with 14 or so highlighted free books and I've got some good ones via that too.
