Yay, Just preordered the next in my favourite series of books. Now just have to wait til July

I love the Ilona Andrews "Magic..." series of books (with a passion). I was gutted last year to find that the next book wasn't to be released til next year.

I've been very patient and have just preordered the book "Magic Rises". Can't wait - but I'm going to have to - until July 30th.

Good timing though, as I do a lot of reading in the school summer hols.

I like those too - sometimes the release date gets brought forward. Have you read any of their other books?

I've got 'The Edge' ones too. I really like the first and find the others ok, but not as good as the Kate ones.

I got the one which was written from Andrea's perspective too which I really liked.

I'll give that a try I think.... I quite like that there are the short stories to keep you going while you have to wait for the books.

Downloaded. I also have Magic Dreams, the Jim and Dali book. Not read it yet. Will finish Kate book 5 first as busy finishing re-reading that at the mo.

I have it on pre-order too! great series. Have you read Gunmetal Magic yet? Only recently finished it and it was fab stuff. Also read the last book in the Edge series too, they aren't planning to do more as it's a bit too 'romance' rather than the Kate Daniels series.

I love it when a pre-ordered book arrives that you forgot that you'd preordered. It's a real treat!

I've downloaded the first three of the KD series in audio from audible, which are well narrated, listen to them lots, so bought the next two in audio cd from amazon. Though I haven't put them on my ipod yet.

I've just finished Cold Days the latest Dresden release from Jim Butcher and I'm on cloud 9 and will pre-order the next one as soon as I can.
