My son loves diary of a whimpy kid and captain underpants. So i'd like to try him with some graphic novels. He likes toilet humour, farting, horrid henry etc!!! Tried to tempt him on tintin and asterix but they're a bit too in depth for him i think. He's 9. Any suggestions?

Horrible Histories are good for all the gory stuff.

I had no idea they did graphic novels of horrible histories. Will look into that. Thanks.

the Anthony Horowitz graphic novels are brilliant. Quite scary though! Also there is a graphic novel of Percy Jackson.

Not graphic but definitely toilet humour
Farticus maximus
Fleabag monkeyface

I had a look at the Percy Jackson graphic novel for DS 8 and thought the language was far more complex than Tintin (which DS reads).
