Has anyone read the snow child or the night circus?

Trying to buy a small present. Generally I buy people books I've read and enjoyed but don't have time to read either. Are either any good?

I'm reading the Snow Child at the moment. It's a beautiful story and would make the perfect Christmas present.

I've read the Night Circus and really enjoyed it.

The Night Circus is amazing - definitely one of the best books I've read this year. Beautiful prose, original concept and lovely characterisation.

Just fiished reading The Snow Child and thought it was fantastic. I read a lot and it really impressed me.
