Really excited for this anyone else? I loved American Gods and think it will translate well into a TV mini-series.

Excited as hell! This is the best novel ever and I can't wait for the series.

I'm always dubious, I have only ever once preferred the film/tv series version to the book (and that was the LOTR films, I never could get away with the books somehow). Usually I spend the whole time noticing what's missing/changed/added and how it differs from the book.
I love American Gods, so I'm not sure I'd watch it, just because of the "ooh that's wrong" factor It drives DH mad if he's trying to watch whatever it is, especially when he hasn't read the book so has no idea what I'm on about...
That said, I am now thinking about a "dream cast" for if I was in charge of finding the actors to play everyone.
Is Liam Neeson too old to be Shadow do you think?

Hmm interesting I will give this a watch, I know I have read American Gods, but I really don't remember much about it, think I preferred Anansi Boys.
