A Quality Christmas Read??

Looking for a book set around Christmas or with a Christmas theme but that isn't of the chick lit ilk. Need something with a bit more depth .

ALready read A Christmas Carol.

How about The Christmas Mystery by Jostein Gaarder?

Dickens wrote some other Christmas stories inc The Cricket on the Hearth. Have you read these too?

Wishin' and Hopin' by Wally Lamb. I remember really enjoying it.

Think ill be reading the dc padding ton soon, just love the Christmas story

There's a lovely book of short stories by Jane Gardam called Missing the Midnight - one of them has a Christmas theme, but it's worth reading for the whole thing. In fact, almost anything by Jane Gardam is worth reading - she's fantastic.
