Get over the genre hurdle if it bothers you - this is a lovely, warm, sweet, intelligent book about love, living and hope. The hero is a zombie who falls in love with a living girl and starts to come alive again. That's pretty much all you need to know.
There's a film coming out next year but the trailer makes it look as if they're just playing it for laughs. I hope they're not.
