I've just added a load of books to my Amazon basket but am about to start IVF and think I could do with a couple of easy going/funny ones too. I don't normally buy funny books so no idea where to start really. The ones I've just put in my basket are:
Three cups of tea, Greg Mortenson
Trash, Andy Mulligan
Out of Shadows, Jason Wallace
The White Lie, Andrea Gillies
Ease, Patrick Gale
Tiny Sunbirds far away, Christie Watson

If it helps, the last couple I've read have been The Night Circus which I absolutely loved and the Cat's Tables which I struggled with a bit

suggestions would be great pls

Something that always makes me laugh but moves me at the same time is "The Story Of My Life", by Giacomo Casanova. Yes, the Casanova. Its brilliant, hilarious, and genius.

Good luck with your IVF.

I've just read Smut by Alan Bennett - very funny enjoyable read.

The Restraint of Beasts by Magnus Mills if you like dark humour.

Diary of a Nobody is an all-time classic.

Also Three Men in a Boat if you like period humour.

And I detest Kingsley Amis as a person (dreadful old misogynist) but have to admit Lucky Jim still makes me laugh out loud.

Ladies Detective Agency series by Alexander McCall Smith are easy light reading

Hope the IVF goes well Smile

Shut up and kiss me by christie Craig- comedy romance
The Darkness in the shadows by m l Briers- comedy vampire romance.

Both had me crying with laughter at times.

Good Luck.
