I'm just coming to the end of this and reading slowly because I don't want it to stop!
I wanted to recommend it as I haven't read such an unputdownable book in a while. I ordered it from Amazon and was slightly perturbed by the glowing reviews from Grazia and good Housekeeping on the back cover (Not normally where I'd get my book recommendations as I'm a slightly snobby reader!!!) but it is excellently written - a proper good old fashioned read with family dramas, emotional mother-daughter relationships, intrigue and mystery and a lovely old Dorset house
I love it!!
Can anyone recommend me anything similar to read next? I think it has almost put me back in the mood to read Rosamunde Pilcher's 'Coming home' which I liked as a teenager (but perhaps not quite!)
