The Art Of Fielding by Chad Harbach

I am in the middle of this book - well 43% on my Kindle and i am doubtfull that i will finish by tomorrow night book club, I have mixed feelings on this book - it does not seem to be an easy read and I feel I am missing something - can anyone help me out here - Its meant to be a great book but what am I missing?

I loved this book so much. Maybe it is simply not your cup of tea if you haven't been grabbed by it so far. I loved all the characters and was sad to end the book. HTH
