Pictures of unborn babies (as featured in Sunday TImes)

My dad has asked for a book for his birthday which was featured in the Sunday Times not long ago. Obviously I have thrown the supplement out with the information. Does anyone know the name of the author? The pictures were first printed in 1965 (I think) and a new book with pictures of viruses has also been brought out.

the book is called Life btw

It looks amazing, I'm ordring nit, its very related to a project I'm working on and might be very interesting to nose through.
