Here is the list of books i have waiting to be read. James patterson: i alex cross and cross fire. Ninja: eric van lustbader. Michael crichton: timeline. Steven king: black house. I also have all the Lee Childs books for kindle to read. And all old steven king novels which i havn't read since i was a kid so fancy revisiting them. Oh and the enigma code. Can't remember author. Suggestions?

Have you tried www.whatshouldireadnext.com/ - you can either put in one book or a whole list of books you have liked, and it matches this with lots of lists of other people's favourites and suggests a book that is likely to mtch your tastes.

Oh no. Will take a look. Need to read some of the ones i've got first though. Just can't decide which first. Maybe i'll stick em in a bag and do a lucky dip Wink

for crime/thriller - Michael connelly (Harry bosch series), Noah Boyd bricklayer series. Jo Nesbo (Harry Hole series). Early Patricia Cornwell (Postmortem) NOT the most recent half dozen or so. Ian Rankin Rebus series.

for horror/fantasy - Phil Rickman, Little Star by John Lindqvist,The Night Watch quartet by Sergei Lukyanenko

Val McDermid - the Tony criminal profiler ones. Bit grim.
quite enjoyed a few of Lynda La Plante recent ones.

Thanks guys. I'm gomna pick one of the above titles at the mo. As they're there waiting for me to read and i'm skint!!! I just don't know which to go for next Grin

Only read 'Black House' if you've read 'The Talisman' as it will make more sense then.
