Jack Reacher - It's just all so wrong

Can't believe it - it's all wrong - size, prettyness (TC isn't attractive to me but JR is supposed to be rough in a Clive Owen kinda way!), voice - sounds like a little girl with a sore throat - JR is supposed to sound rough, surly and masculine.

Lee Child has IMO sold out - Clive Owen, that what his name Winchester bloke (althugh a bit young) - there must be a million other men who could make a better stab at it than La Cruise

I really can't see Tom cruise as jack reacher still can't wait to see the movie though

You are right, and there have been other threads lamenting the same thing.
I have an excellent imagination, but this was a stretch too far!
Even Wikki agrees : Reacher is 6' 5" tall (1.96m) with a 50-inch chest, and weighing between 210 and 250 pounds (100?115 kg).

Oh yes, that brings TC instantly to mind.

Tom Cruise is NOT Jack Reacher. Oh God.
