I enjoyed the Snow Child very much. Haven't heard of The House of Tides.

I read The House of Tides this past two days and stormed through it! I was gripped by the different narrators and threads coming together. Great twist near the end. I'm really impressed with the autumn Richard and Judy choices. I've bought most of them. Now reading The Greatcoat and have The Shoemaker's Wife and The Snow Child to read.

I thought I would love the snow child, but I didn't, I thought it didn't deliver on its promise and wasn't that amazingly written, but if I kind of allowed myself to get into a dreamy state then I could quite enjoy it. I think it pulls its punches, tbh.
Haven't read the other one.

wooooooo weird.
I've also just bought both.
Read house of tides first. Entertaining but dark.

Snow child is amazing. Loving it and don't want it to end.

I LOVED the Snow Child, can't comment on the other one. Hope you enjoy them.

Do you mean Secrets of the Tides? If so I have read them both, and preferred Tides.

Have to agree with wickerman about The Snow Child, it started off great, but for me, yes, it pulls its punches, and goes a bit meandering and sentimental later on.

I did think it was beautifully written though. And it wasn't bad, by any means, just not as dark or as gripping as I expected it to be. The first scene/chapter was incredible.

Yes its Secret of the Tides.
