Has anyone read this? I've got it in my Amazon basket at the minute but I'm dithering over buying it as although the title drew me in and the blurb sounds good, it's listed under teen books so I'm wondering if it will be as good as it sounds?

I was disappointed in it to be honest. The premise looked really interesting and I was enjoying it until the big reveal about halfway through. After that I was a bit "meh" about it all. The photos are by far the most interesting thing. The main character was quite whingy & the end a bit frustrating.

Sorry to disappoint but I felt let down by it and I do enjoy a good bit of YA fiction.

Oh that's a shame, I stumbled across it by accident and was quite excited to give it a go - it seemed quite 'dark' but then when I saw it was written for teens, I wondered if it would be.

No problem. I was especially annoyed as I'd had it on my wish list for ages while I waited for the price to go down.

I've read it and I quite liked it. It's very different but at the same time familiar - gave me the same feeling that I got from some ghostly/ fantasy books I read as a teenager. Parts of it are a bit contrived and the main character is annoying, but I'd still say it's worth a read.

I quite liked it. Agree that it didn't deliver as much as it promised but I liked its quirkiness and loved the pictures (and they are all real). Yes, it's v much the sort of thing I loved as a teen.

Thanks everyone :) I've gone ahead and ordered it...the sound of the pictures is intriguing me too much! Besides, I thought DD may enjoy it even if I don't :)
