Has anyone read it. Would love to read it but don't really want to pay 4.99 for a Kindle book. Going on hols tomorrow, not sure if I should go for it or not.

Thanks.

Appreciate this is no help whatsoever but I'm taking it on holiday too. Think it looks like a really interesting premise & well worth a punt. Had it on my wish list for a while. I reckon if you like a good thriller with some twists you could do a lot worse.

myflabberisgasted · 24/08/2012 13:47

This isn't going to help either but I have just looked at the reviews on amazon and I think this book sounds amazing!

I have now added it to my wish list in the hope it comes down in price soon Grin

Hi - I am on hol and have just read Tideline.
It is a great read! You won't be disappointed! It is quite dark though, so poss not ideal holiday read.

DuchessofMalfi · 24/08/2012 18:14

My holiday read is very dark too - Finders Keepers by Belinda Bauer. It's about child abduction and is very creepy but unputdownable :o

Tideline well & truly devoured over a couple of days. Really, really enjoyed it. Quality of writing is really good, there's a couple of twists in there & it does strike me as a very Mumsnet-esque book. It is very dark but gets you hooked within the first few pages. Heartily recommended.

I read this on holiday. Was well crafted, I quite enjoyed it. I'd give it 7/10.

But yy to very Mumsnet Wink. The motherhood theme is central and there are lots of nice details of middle class domestic life.

BabeRuthless · 02/09/2012 13:50

I think it was the rampant wine drinking which made me think of MN Grin

DuchessofMalfi · 02/09/2012 17:50

I bought a copy last week - love a good thriller :)

Celticlassie · 04/09/2012 21:38

I read it and enjoyed it - what did others think of it? Ending was a little weird..

Mintyy · 04/09/2012 21:45

Its difficult to talk about the ending without spoiling it for those who have not read ... but I found it unsatisfactory, tis all I will say.

louloutheshamed · 02/09/2013 09:50

I have just finished this and also found the ending unsatisfactory. Good twist although am not
Sure the flashback scenes worked. I loved the sense of place and the atmosphere of the river, the kind of
Grimy side juxtaposed With the naice middle classness.
