I am a Royal Air Force wife (husband never home) and have two small children.
Whilst my husband served in Afghanistan and Iraq I wrote a book about what it is like to be left 'behind the wire'. A Peter Kay meets Jilly Cooper look at living with the military. Waterstone's and Borders stocked it nationally within 3 weeks launching.
