Anyone read this?

It's set in 1760's, about a young girl who becomes a prostitute in London then moves to Monmouth where she is incarcerated in Monmouth prison...that's where the story begins.

Not the sort of thing I normally read, but I enjoyed The Crimson Petal and the White. It's not as good as that, but surprisingly pacy.

She wrote The Room, but this is totally different.

Not read it but DH has read The Sealed Letter which he said was v good. Have you read it?

MrsRobertDuvallHasRosacea · 24/08/2012 12:17

No but I will look out for it.
I am on my own today so may delay cleaning the bathroom and carry on reading.

This is one of my favourite easy read books. A cracking, bawdy story - love it

Just finished it.
Really, really good.

I shall look out for her other novels.
