Scary book called Falling Leaves or Fallen Leaves or maybe something else instead?

Recommended to me by someone I got chatting to when I was very drunk and I can't remember the name properly.

It is apparently The Scariest Book in the World, and I want to read it.

Any ideas?

The scariest boom I ever rad was "the rats " by James Herbert

Shudder

I think you're thinking of house of leaves. I found it difficult to read. It was a few years back

Did you try it? Was it good? I have been meaning to give it a try (no spoilers please!)

I have a book called Falling Leaves. Scary in the sense that it is about an emotionally and psychologically abusive childhood. It's not horror or gruesome or anything like that though.

To be honest, I've been trying to get rid of it via, Read it Swap it/ Ebay but no one's been interested. If you want it then pm me and I can send it to you.

I don't like being scared so don't read scary books. DH recommends Heart-shaped Box as really scary.

There is one that I couldn't read recently, but I have scoured all details from my mind in the interests of maintaining sanity forgotten the details. Dh will know, though. I'll ask him in the morning.
