by Kay Langdale. Just finished this and really enjoyed it. Great characters and moves at a good pace. Anyone else read it?

No, but what a great title! Have just read the summary - looks great - and have reserved it at the library. Will be back when I have read it!

Oh it was fab - I bought it after seeing this thread so thank you for the recommendation - I'm really sad I've finished it - would have liked it to be a bit linger so that I could see how Scout develops though ...

Have had a bit of a reading blitz of late and really loved Life, Death and Vanilla Slices by Jenny Eclair too. Also read Into The Darkest Corner (was terrified but couldn't put it down), The Wicked Girls (also v good) and one by Wendy Perriam (cheap Kindle one) but it was quite good.

What next? Looking forward to Mammy Walsh's book which is out soon, one of MarianKeyes characters, and also Sue Townsend's, The Woman Who Went To Bed For a Year that could be me. Grin

Oh, thank you for the recommendation! I LOVED this book. Scout might just be one of my favourite literary characters of all time...
