Kindle Reading Marathon - crime suggestions?

I am trying to download a raft of these cheap books and want a few new crime ones, but there are SO MANY and it's so hard to tell them apart by the blurbs.

I like the Kellermans, Michael Connolly, Jo Nesbo.. are there other go-to authors in this genre on the Kindle Reading Marathon list?

Not sure whether Rivers of London is on your list?

Look for James Oswald if you like police procedurals with a supernatural element, though they can be a bit grim forensically and are like Val McDermid in terms of the levels of sexual violence.
Susan Hill's Simon Serailler series is quite deep and psychological, like PD James and is just as literate.
I'm not sure what to make of Anne Cleeve's Vera series though which was filmed with Brenda Blethyn. There is a lot of dialect dialogue and the books are too long IMO.
Sorry just realised I haven't looked at Kindle Reading Marathon list, these are books I have read on Kindle in the last month or so...oops

The Bangkok books by John Burdett are excellent - a half-Thai half-western detective working the shady district. He really gets into the soul of the place.
