My birthday books....................

I got lots of birthday books, and heres some of them, i got the whole series of miss marple.......... which is different something i would never have bought myself, but am really enjoying. I also recieved The diary of Ma Yan, its the life of a chinese school girl, and My Life in Orange, about a child growing up in a commune from the age of 6........

I've read My Life in Orange - really good, good combination of touching and funny.

Agatha Christie is good for a nice light escapist read (well if you forget the fact that people are murdered )

I know just what you mean about enjoying AC but never thinking of getting them for yourself. It's such good escapism. I'm enjoying the new Poirots on TV at the moment.

i loved watching miss marple on tv when i was younger ( the original) so to read the books, are great, such a way to rewind, kinda forget about the fact that i never wenat to live or go on holiday where miss marple is, such bad luck she has!
