I think it's almost universally acknowledged that FSOG is terribly written tripe. But what books or websites can you recommend for a woman wanting to dabble her toes in erotic fiction? My tastes are very vanilla and I've tried the literotica site but was overwhelmed with the choice....

Miranda Forbes has edited several collections (list on goodreads). This website is good for erotic stories. If you get one of the collections, then it gives you a variety of scenarios, and you can see where your preferences lie

Oh and on literotica, maybe start with the "first times" section, as they're never too hardcore :)

Thank you guys - lots to be going on with there! Have had another look at literotica and found much which takes my fancy! DH enjoying it too!! Will check out those compilations as well. Fun times ahead...
