Radio 4 book, reviewed today. What was it!

I was only half listening to the radio, (whilst trying to clean the kitchen and having my 6yo talk at me), but a book they reviewed sounded of interest. So, from what I caught, the plot went something like this: 50 year old man, recently diagnosed with aspergers falls in love with Buffy the Vampire Slayer on TV. He writes to her and decides he wants to meet her. An adventure follows. Sounds utterly bizarre when I write it down!

Any ideas?

I was listening too! Think it was calked "Dear Miss Lowndes" or something very similar.
