have not read for years but giving up smoking and reading is helping...I have just read girl in cellar natascha kampusch story.

Im not normally into true stories of child absue though or rmance or chick flick type things.

I have just started In cold blood trueman Capote today and enjoying it so far.

recomend what I may enjoy next as I may have this one done at least by the end of next week if not sooner.

Try Death and the Penguin by Andrei Kurkov if you like slightly absurdist fiction.
Also the Sister Pelagia mysteries by Boris Akunin are entertaining - relatively light, but serious, if that makes sense?

For non-fiction, Tom Holland's Millennium is fascinating - it details the reasons how the papacy gained primacy over the 'Lords Temporal' in the 11th century.
A.N. Wilson's Dante in Love is another good one, although definitely not light reading...
