What authors and books do you like? Easier to make recommendations if we know your taste ...

(I like the Booker Prize shortlists that Book People do, but I'm sad like that.)

poppadum · 28/02/2006 09:22

Everybody should read "The Secret History" by Donna Tartt.

Kerry74 · 28/02/2006 09:25

Nora Roberts or J.D Robb (Same person) both styles of her writing are brilliant

NotQuiteCockney · 28/02/2006 09:25

True. Also, The Wasp Factory, by Iain M. Banks.

NotQuiteCockney · 28/02/2006 09:26

Whoops, my "true" was to Poppadum, I have no opinion on Nora Roberts.

mummytosteven · 28/02/2006 09:29

IIRC when Emelie has posted before she was quite into true life childhood memoirs type books.

apologies if I've got that completely wrong!!!
