has anyone read Ivanhoe?

I'm just reading it for my book group and everybody in the group disagreed with my opinion of it - just interested to see what other people think of it.

I've read it and enjoyed it very much. But I haven't really got any idea what kind of approach you might have in a book group. I think Rowena is a milk sop and I loved Rebecca. Tbh, it's a bit of a romp really, by the standards of the times.

What were the opposing views of your book group and you?
