I hope someone can share their thoughts with me about this topic
I drive over one hour each way & my local library (in fact I am using 2 in different counties) has very limited choice of books on CD's
my car hasn't got a way to plug in my MP3 player or an Ipod - I know I should be able to buy a device to tune in an Ipod to listen to it via radio
but the question is about books :)
as you can imagine I can go through a book a week(or two) - depending on it's length
I would have hoped there's another way to borrow books to listen to, like we do in the library - so I listen to it and then it expires, but it seems that I would need to pay for a book - at least £3.99
on Audiable site they explain how it works - I guess is not as cheap as they make it to be:

so for £7.99 a month you get one book, I guess that means that the next one is a full price :(
not a nice idea
