As a newby stepmum I thoroughly enjoyed and related to this.

I quite enjoyed it as well, but not one of her better ones. I still think Babyville and Second Chance are her masterpieces, have read all books (I think) and it seems Jane Green is a bit hit and miss these days, whilst some are brilliant some are utterly dreary (Jemima J anyone?). My sister really enjoyed the Love Verb, thats my next read!

Jemima J and Babyville are her best bits. Since she got married and lives in the US she has become very American. Sadly.
