How about this as a birthday present for a 4 year old??

(I only have a 10 month old so haven?t a clue what a four year old might like but know she loves books oh and Disney princess seems to go down well)

My DD is nearly 4 and loves her books. She loves to get new ones anytime.

Agree with craft stuff too.

Craft stuff would be really nice - like beads, shiny pieces etc . elc do a nice set with letters , shapes and coloured wooden beads to thread here . Books are great but it is so easy to duplicate or get the level wrong.

Can you put a shout out for JayzMummy? She made me a pack up last week for a 5 year old boy to use to make a small 'all about me' scrapbook and it was fantastic, definitely recommend (had card covers, stickers, fibres to tie together, pretty appers and holographic papers and some stars etc to decorate).

my ds2 would love those books, and he is just 4 so i would say a great present, much nicer than the usual plastic rubbish that they get, shows a bit more thought. ds2 is really getting into his books now, which has led to him finally taking an interest in learning to write!
