Any good? I read a wide range of books now thanks to mumsnet books section (used to just read chick lit) so just wondering if the books are worth reading? Thanks

No. I was 14 when one sentence struck me as so inane I refused to read the rest of the book for the first time in my life. Try Sidney Sheldon, Barbara Taylor Bradford, Shirley Conran... even Jeffrey Archer is slightly better. Or Mills+Boon.

Haven't read one since I was a teenager:o

I haven't read one for years. At one stage I was reading quite a few. The early ones are a lot better than the later ones. The Ring is good but more than a bit far fetched. And I admit to watching some of the ones made into films. Daddy with the guy who played Bobby in Dallas is good. Not exactly intelectual viewing. Still never mind!

Ok never mind wanted something heavier than a teen read

I don't think they're meant to be teen reads, though I did also read them all as a teenager. Not sure I'd enjoy them now, they are quite trashy.

Just finished "Legacy", (it was 10p from charity shop). It was easy reading, I used to buy (at full price) and read each one as they came out but gave up doing that a few years ago as they became very samey. I do have a small book shelf unit just for her books , about 60 (?) in all. But don't tell anyone ...

Maybe i'll give one of them a go as i can get the free ebooks so wont loose anything if i give it a go
