If there isn't - I just couldn't get on with it. I'm still not passed chapter 5. It's awkwardly written for me and just too much information, like she was trying to be too cleaver iyswim.

I've only ever seen the stills of him, but what about the actor who plays Edward in Twilight as Vidal? He's early 20s, I think, and tall, and dark.

I'm watching New Moon right now & there is no way Robert Pattinson should ever be allowed near a Georgette Heyer adaptation!

Mmm not sure about Rpattz as Vidal, he doesn't seem capable of having enough fun or letting go enough to be Vidal. (Though maybe I am just influenced by the vampire character).

I wonder if there is another GH character that would suit him though - there must be a GH book with a silent and brooding hero?

True, and Alan Rickman would be a good Devil's Cub Avon even though can't have him in These Old Shades.

Freddy in Cotillion is lovely. Alright so he's a little bit simple (but not so much I don't think) but he's so kind & dependable.

Dolphinton is the really thick one, Freddy isn't as stupid as he appears (according to his father).

Back to where we are though, did we decide to leave These Old Shades till next week, or have we started that on a new thread?

Ha! Just posted about Freddie on the other thread! I had the late Sebastian Horlsey in my head the whole way through so a younger version of him would be nice.
