Sophie Hannah...Kind of cruel

I have given up reading it.
Awful.
That was a waste of money!

How far did you get? I found it a lot slower than the others, but persevered and it DID get better.I don't think any of her books were as good as the first three though.

To the point where she had come back from the police station after being questioned.
I just didn't like it, but have read her others. I agree that her later books are not as good as the first couple.

I've moved on now to something else, and have put the book in the charity shop bag for tomorrow.

I'm currently reading A Room Swept White and finding it hard to get into.
I was debating getting Lasting Damage and Kind of Cruel but I'm not sure whether to give up on the Sophie Hannah books.

I'm listening to this now on an audio book. Not sure if I would have got on with the book either though. Think the good thing about an audio book is that you can do other things at the same time like being on MN cooking the tea.
