Does anyone know this book, and can advise whether it's suitable for ds1 (8)?

For inf. He has read all Harry Potter books, Alex Rider books, Young Bond books - and I'm fine with him reading this sort of material.

I view things like Nix: Lirael, Taylor: Shadowmancer, Sedgwick: Witch Hill to be unsuitable for his age.

Oh well, too late - he's nearly finished!
Mental note to myself: don't let him take a book with him to church/Sunday school

I'll just have to read it myself. I hope it's not as disturbing as Lirael.

I have just seen this sorry

DS loved it but he is 2 years older and he is out atm so couldn't ask him anyway

Nix: Lirael, Taylor: Shadowmancer, Sedgwick: Witch Hill I haven't come across these yet so can't compare
