I'm trying to remember the name of a book (well a series actually, I think they may have been 2 or 3 books), that I read about 10 years ago.
I'll try and set out what I can remember in the hope that somebody else might have read them too and be able to tell me the book name and/or author name as I'd really like to read them again. I'm sorry that the information I'm providing is rather vague though!
- Sci fi/ fantasy genre, I seem to remember it was an adult book but it may have been aimed at teenagers too.
-I'm pretty sure it was either written by a Chris somebody or one of the main characters may have been called Chris.
-The characters are being chased/followed by wild huntsmen types on horseback I think (sort of like Wild Edric) through the British countryside, I seem to recall they were followed mainly at night and I think they may have travelled in tunnels underground too.
- The bit that sticks in my mind the most is when they went/were chased to Edinburgh and they were hiding/hunting in the 'underground city' set in the hillside under the castle in Edinburgh.
- There may have been a mention of Stonehenge being one of the places they travelled through.
Reading that back to myself it sounds such a vague description of a book I read such long time ago. Oh well, I can only hope!
