Downloading now. I'm at home with two ill DCs at the moment so perfect timing. Hope it's as good as the first.

Ooh fantastic!

I loved ITDC - was the first book in a long time to have me truly gripped.

I have so many books saved on my kindle that I have yet to read, but I might try this first.

Hopefully it is good and not an anti-climax after the first one.

mizu · 15/03/2012 14:19

Have ordered from Amazon this morning - can't wait for it to arrive

JiltedJohnsJulie · 15/03/2012 15:40

Haven't read ITDC yet, but think we may be reading it later in the year for our Book Group. Is this one a sequel or doesn't it matter that I haven't yet read ITDC?

LitterPicker · 15/03/2012 17:24

No not a sequel. You will really enjoy ITDC - it's one of those books that you just can't put down.

UsedToBePretty · 16/03/2012 15:02

I started this this morning but I haven't got very far.

Anyone else started it yet?

cornsilkidy · 16/03/2012 15:03

have just bought it...darn I have stuff to do!

Dillydollydaydream · 19/03/2012 15:58

I'm tempted to try it but waiting to read some reviews first. I really enjoyed her first book too.

UsedToBePretty · 19/03/2012 18:11

I've started it but can't seem to get into it as much as the first one..... Will persevere

igggi · 24/03/2012 09:00

I didn't think it was as good as ITDC by a long shot, but then that was a particularly good book.

MsNorbury · 25/03/2012 21:14

It's cack

mammal · 25/03/2012 21:34

I've finished it and found it very disappointing: poor plot and poor characterization. Not recommended.

I could not warm to the main character - she had no interest in the morality of anything going on in the plot (and I don't just mean the stripping!) I did enjoy the stuff I've learned about houseboats!

I will wait until it's cheap on Kindle and buy it. Loved ITDC.

MrsBradleyCooper · 31/03/2012 21:22

I was SO disappointed with this. I'd class ITDC as the best book I've read in a long time so this was a total anti climax. I found it really confusing and jumpy. Anyone else finished it?

Cantdothisagain · 31/03/2012 21:24

I loved the first book and was impatient to read the second, but agree it wasn't worth the anticipation! I agree about the anti-climax. Shame....

Feenie · 31/03/2012 21:24

I've just finished it too - that's a few hours I will never get back. Very disappointed.

whereismywine · 01/04/2012 21:30

Well, I read it fast and wasn't bored. But it was quite erm, Martina Cole? I do like them sometimes (!) but I expected better as I enjoyed itdc. The Dylan love story was poor. And it all felt a bit similar to itdc? It felt hurried at the end.

MrsBradleyCooper · 01/04/2012 21:40

I agree with the Dylan story - I felt myself wanting her to get together with Jim.

It ended really abruptly I found - not sure I'll be buying any more of her books.

Dillydollydaydream · 09/04/2012 16:39

I really liked her first book. I have downloaded her new book but have a feeling I'll be disappointed?!
