Start a Book Group that meets?

I've just moved to West Berkshire with my two year old son and have left behind an amazing book group that met up in the city I lived in.
I really want to start one again in this area, meeting as regulary as mums can manage. We can choose the books and have a nice evening our chatting about them and meeting new people?

Anybody interested?

Valdeeves have you tried posting on MN Local?

I'll have a look - I can't remember. Not having much luck though
as posted on Netmums too. Perhaps it's not really anyone's cup
of tea these days?

Not in your area but I started a book group recently and found that placing a notice in the library helped. Also ask around at any playgroups etc that you attend. It took a while to get going and we still have a certain turnover but it's good fun. Good luck.

Think that the one that I attend is advertised at the local library too and the woman who runs it is very good at asking along people from playgroup, tumble tots, NCT etc.

Perhaps if you put your area in the thread title and talk to the library staff you might get more response.
