recommend a few books for my kindle please

Im fed up with reading horrible life stories, and need some new books. I love a good crime thriller and a funny story now and then.
Im just reading "the Help" at the moment.

I'd definately recommend Mr Clarinet by Nick Stone

The Tom rob smith trilogy is brilliant brilliant crime. Starts with child 44, then secret speech then agent 6(I think). Best thing I've read for ages.
