Read The Paris Wife recently and absolutely loved it. It's the story of Hadley, Hemingways first wife. Its a novel but written as if it is autobiographical. It was fascinating and really evocative of the time. I really didnt expect to love it as much as I did.

From the list I like Before I Go To Sleep, which I have just got on my kindle. I'm listening to My Dear I Wanted To Tell You on Radio 4's Book At Bedtime at the moment, but as it has been abridged heavily I'll probably buy the book to read - I'm loving it so far. I had a look at The Paris Wife in the bookshop this morning - it is a possibility - looks good. Not sure about the rest though.

Have read Me before you and wouldn't say that it was too chick lit at all. It explores the theme of taking one's own life very well which is by no means a chick lit theme.

Was discussing books with a couple of girlfriends yesterday and one is a huge chicklit fan. I actually warned her off it as I thought she might pick it up as it has the pink cover and know she would hate it.

I have just finished Before I go to Sleep and really enjoyed it.
