Temeraire and The Travelling Matchmaker - opinions?

i'm in the middle of the first Temeraire - it's very god - are the others good too?

and The Travelling Matchmaker series are 99p each in the 12 days of kindle sale - should I?

I'm hoping the Temeraire one is good - I've bought the first 4!! I have a nasty habit of doing this - it backfires sometimes (luckily not too often!!). I'll be interested to hear, too, if anyone else has read the others!!

I really like the Temeraire series, some are better than others (isn't that always the way with a series) but none (so far) are unreadable! Such a great idea too, apparently Peter Jackson has got the film rights which could be interesting. Can't help with the other series though

I liked the first one the best, I have to say. Their relationship was constantly developing in surprising ways, which didn't seem to happen in the next few. Why not try the Master and Commander novels, for a fantasy-free version? I've read all twenty of them, and their charm didn't dwindle at all.

I was looking at the travelling matchmaker series as well then I got one from the library and to be honest I didn't bother buying them . They are short stories really and not that good.
