Just came across this Kindle Title before Christmas and have finished it today. The author is new but this book is mind-blowingly good and I wondered if anyone else has come across it? It's kind of a little like Kurt Vonnegut crossed with Douglas Adams but the style is gentler in places and very easy to read.
It's the story of Daisy, a woman who lost both her parents to a suicide pact and who gradually falls apart. But there is this voice in her head, referred to as The Glo who refuses to leave her alone. At first you think she's just going mad and so does she - in fact she's put in a mental institution. But then she discovers that The Glo hasn't just been talking to her, and he isn't alone.
It's a fascinating book. Any chance of having it in the book club?
