Recommend me a book please.

My favourite authors are a right mixed bunch - from Nancy Mitford to Neil Gaiman.

I've recently finished reading all the Song of Ice and Fire books which I thought were amazing.

The last book I read and enjoyed was A Sense of Ending by Julian Barnes - but it was so short I finished it in a day or two.

I am thinking maybe the new Neal Stephenson but I'm not sure - has anyone read it?

I am a great fan of 'Little Boy Lost' by Marghanita Laski if you haven't already read it? It is the story of a man hunting for his lost child after the end of the war and is a well deserved classic that will live with you for years to come.

Rose Tremain is always good, and so far my favourite is 'The Colour'.

My favourite book is 'The Dancers at the End of Time' by Michaal Moorcock. Just ridiculously random and gorgeous.

Also Michael Faber's 'Under the Skin'. Dark, crooked, and utterly amazing.

Not read any Neal Stephenson - might give it a go :)
