It was released then, but probably only in hardback. They often have details of the paperback versions which don't get released until the following year.

I have the rest in paperback so it will look out of place on my shelf. Angry

Mmmm you may want to save your money for the paperback. The first three were brilliant, the fourth slumped and the fifth is just downright boring. Sorry GRR I love everything else you have written!

I've just been reading the reviews and they say the same as you boo I'm halfway through AFFC but I think I will have to buy it because boring or not I'm dying to hear more about Bran and Dany!

Yes, isn't DWD meant to run concurrently rather than be a sequel? Bit blah if I say so myself.
