The Stranger's Child - Good or try hard?

As the title says really.

I liked some of it - loved the portrayal of Daphne as a teenager in fact all of the beginning - but started to get a bit bored but wondering if I'm just being a bit crap.

Anyone love it and feel like illuminating me?

I'm a bit the same.

I can't decide if it was really good ... or dull, dull, dull.

There were bits I loved. And bits were I just flicking through the pages.

Very long book. I liked the mystery of Cecil's homosexuality unfolding over the years.
