Foisted on me by Waterstones in Gower street but what a brilliant read, would score highly on readability, entertainment and food for thought and has a reference to Mumsnet and Dubai (where I live) as well... here's the review:

Our book club in Dubai rated it very highly (3 hearts), I've been invited to talk about it on a local radio station Dubai Eye next week, what did UK readers think of it please ? Thanks

I enjoyed it, but found the ending a bit odd.

OK some of our club thought so too, how did you decide to read it, did you read a review first ?

Actually I wouldn't have loved to discuss it with someone - I think (no personal experience) that the depression was probably very accurately portrayed? any thoughts anyone? Me, being a non depressive sort, felt a bit frustrated by him at times.

Also liked the used of Mumsnet. Hadn't thought of using it like that Hmm

X post. No - never heard of it, but my SIL's club read it and she passed it on. Will ask her what their views were.
