The Passage by Justin Cronin
The Help

Both will keep you going for most if not all of the flight.

Also dont forget the airport specials as often stuff out there that not in shops- isn't there a new penny Vincenzi out (can be a bit hit and miss but good flight choice)

Where are you off to?

Gigondas · 30/09/2011 17:29

Oh yes the help is good

HedleyLamarr · 30/09/2011 17:32

The new one by John Connolly is good. The Burning Soul it's called. In fact, any of his books. They're all good.

Itsjustafleshwound · 30/09/2011 17:32

Harlan Corben's books are usually a good read ...
Deon Meyer

windfall by penny vincennzi is fab, kind of a thriller but with a chick lit feel. I have enjoyed most of her books. An absolute scandal, and best of times are good too.

May wander back to the bookshop or stay in the bar drinking Rose

Yes the help. Don't get sister, a friend read this on long haul and she cried so much they had to send over a hostess to see if she was ok. Not a good look.
