A Book for MIL

We are going to buy MIL a book for christmas (amongst other things) but she doesn't read much. The only thing I know she's read and enjoyed is one of the Joanne Harris books so last year I bought her a different Joanne Harris book. So... any recommendations for something lightish but not too trashy suitable for a 60 year old- preferably recent so I can get it cheap...
Thanks !

Maeve Binchy? There was one out earlier this year, I'm sure.

oh yes, that's a good idea - the latest one was set on a greek island too and she went to one last year so she'd probably like that....

Thanks for the suggestions - will probably go for the Maeve Binchey one as think it is the lightest and that's probably whats needed
