Can any of you recommend any good thriller authors.

Can you give me an idea of the best thriller writers to go for. I already like Nikki French. I was looking at some books in Tesco today, Karen Rose and Sophie Hannah. Have any of you read any of theirs and what do you think.

Sophie Hannah is great. I think you'd also like Jane Casey. I am partial to Tess Gerritsen, Lisa Gardner and Peter Robinson. Val McDermid is amazing at her best (she's quite variable) if gory. Any use?

Minette Walters. Laura Lippman (also set in Baltimore). early Patricia Cornwell/Kathy Reichs. Elly Griffiths. Dennise Lehane.
