When god was a rabbit- anyone read it?

Am half way through, really enjoying it so far. I love the little, isolated character portrayals like mrs penny. It would make a great tv film, when I was reading the chapter about the silver jubilee I could see it so clearly

yes I have read this. really enjoyed it. There was a thread about it about a month ago but i think it had spoilers so don't read it yet!

i did like it, it is the style of writing that appeals to me.
