Gone series

Hey, has anybody read the 'Gone' series by Micheal Grant? If so what did you think and do you know when 'fear' is released? :)

Loved the first couple, haven't got round to reading the next few though - had a few too many books to read!
There are some disturbing scenes in the first one though re. children dying...

My 13 year old DS2 loves these and has just read Fear which he ordered from the library. He devoured it in a day.
I haven't read a children's book since I tried the dreaded HP but I'm tempted to try this one.

Oops . Got my series muddled. It's Charlie Higson's "The Fear" that DS has just read, although he has also read the Michael Grant series. The last one was Plague I think.
All zombie apocalypse stuff!
